I am attempting to use the 'Gridded Population of the World' dataset to access data on population within a 5 kilometer radius of certain sites throughout the world. I started out calculating the figures I need on an Excel file successfully. However, in the past two weeks or so, I seem to encountering a problem with accessing this data. Specifically, the problem is that whatever the co-ordinates on longitude and latitude I use, I get the same figures for the population of an area. This is also the case when I attempt to go back through the Excel file I am using the store this data - e.g. whether I am repeating the data on row 5 of the dataset or I am attempting to calculate new data on row 205. If you could help me to solve this problem, I would be exceptionally grateful!
