A main strength is the use of process based agricultural models to simulate the response. The models may simulate farmers’ response to changing conditions, therefore providing estimates of the capacity of farmers to adapt to climate change. In our modeling exercise of 2004 the behavior of marginal farmers was not considered, but the models may be used with this purpose.
