Wheat, rice, maize and soybean. Cereals account for a large proportion of the human and animal caloric intake in most regions. The cereals considered in the study account for over 60% of the global commodity trade. The results may be taken as proxy for all crops since both winter and summer crops with very different climate responses are considered.
